Another good weekend beach walk. The winter looks over which is quite early for August in New Zealand. Despite sudden showers, the weather was nice and warm.
My wife and I came from Vladivostok, this is a city in the Far East of Russia on the coast of the Japan Sea. As everywhere on the coast, Vladivostok also has sea tides, but we have never seen such tides as in New Zealand. As the sources say the difference in water level on the coast of New Zealand can reach up to three meters. We have been living in New Zealand for three years, but this spectacle is still very impressive and we do not miss the opportunity to walk along the seabed during a low tide.
During this walk, we met a wonderful woman who collects plastic garbage while walking along the beach with her dogs. I want to tell a little story about this woman later on if she would agree to. )
